Say no to polythene today for a greener tomorrow.

For many years, man has been making progress, but at the same time, more garbage and toxins are being emitted into the environment. Due to causes like the expanding population, urbanization, modernization, etc., we can see that dumping of waste and toxins into the atmosphere occurs on a massive scale today. Polythene and goods connected to it are among the most hazardous of the garbage that is thrown into the environment.

As man developed, he was able to create the hydrocarbon polythene. Since it was less expensive than materials like paper and fabric, it was employed to substitute the raw materials of many products. Shopping bags, sandwich wraps, and many other items have all been made from polythene.

Polythene is used on a huge scale since it is so inexpensive. The amount of polythene poured into the environment has increased as a result, though. Contrary to other materials, polythene does not decompose, hence it will last a very long time in the environment. Burning polythene garbage is dangerous to all living things, including people, because it emits toxic fumes. When polythene garbage is deposited into bodies of water, it can clog sewage and water systems. Both terrestrial and marine organisms should avoid polythene since it can cause them to suffocate and ultimately kill them. Due to polythene usage, particularly polythene garbage that was put into water, millions of species have perished.
