A Journey by Train

A journey by a train is a very thrilling experience and means going on a trip or journey by a train.

My family and I went to catch a train from Kandy to Colombo one very cold morning. It was a thrilling journey. We sat in our seats, admiring the lovely scenery around us. The train then began to leave the station. We began our journey at 7 a.m. Along the way, the train puffed and chugged. We saw trees, plants, bullocks, hens, and other animals along the way. The train stooped at a cafeteria, where passengers could eat and relax. The passengers then boarded the train again, and we continued our journey. Meanwhile, my father and I were playing cards on our seat. We arrived in Colombo at 3 p.m. We were exhausted and sweating profusely.
